5.2.1Privacy Document Permission UsageSettings

DocumentConfigure permissionsvisibility are the fundamentaland access controls withinfor Orient-drop data.

This section allows users to manage the Kedaovisibility, Clouddata, system, governing every document-related operation performed by users. The key scenarios where document permissions are applied include:

  • Department or Public Network Disk Permissions: These define a user'sand access level within a department or public network disk.
  • File or Folder Permissions: These specify the permissions for individual users or groups on specific documents or folders.
  • Internal Collaboration and Sharing: Since departments are isolated from one another, cross-departmental collaboration requires the establishment of communication channels via the "File Collaboration and Sharing" feature, allowing designated users or groups to work together.
Despite the varied application scenarios, document permissions across the entire system adhere to a consistent logic.

5.2.2 Viewing Your Own Document Permissions

Permissions in Kedao Cloud are organized into combinations that encapsulate a series of system permissions. Typically, these combinations are configured by the system administrator before being deployed in the production environment. When users need to configure permissions, they can easily select a pre-defined combination.

After logging into the system, users can view their document permissions for the current directory by clicking the permissions icon in the upper right cornerscope of the addressOrient-drop bar.
