4.4 Quick Picks: Starred
4.4.1 FavoritesMark the File and folder as Favorite
To mark a folder as important or easily accessible, start by selecting the folder you want. Once the folder is selected, look towards the top right corner of the screen there, you will see a star icon. Click on this star icon to mark the folder as “starred.”
After starring the folder, a new option labeled “Starred” will appear in the left-hand menu or sidebar. Click on this “Starred” option, and it will display all the folders or files you have marked with a star, including the one you just selected. This feature helps you quickly find and access your important folders without having to search for them every time.

Adding Files to Favorites Kedao CloudDots allows users to add files and folders to their Favorites for quick access. This feature supports the addition of various virtual directories, including user-shared content, the Recycle Bin, and personal shares.
- To add a file or folder to Favorites, click the star icon associated with the item.

2. Removing from Favorites To remove a file or folder from Favorites, click the star icon on the saved item again to deselect it.
Direct Drag and DropSelect one or more files or folders and drag them to the desired tag in the navigation window. This method allows for quick addition of a single tag at a time.Right-Click Menu/ToolbarRight-click on the file or folder or use the "More" option on the toolbar to access the tag options. You can add one or more tags or remove existing tags.Properties/Information PanelAfter selecting a file or folder, tags can be added or removed through the Properties or Information panel.
Click the drop-down menu in the tag category of the navigation pane on the left column and select "Tag Management" to open the Tag Management Panel.In this panel, you can create new tags, sort existing tags by dragging and dropping, and delete or perform other operations. To create a new tag, click "Create Tag" in the right-click menu or the Properties panel to access the Tag Management Panel.
4.4.3 Pinning Files
To prioritize important files, use the pin feature:Select the file and click the "Pin" option from the right-click menu or toolbar. This action will keep the file easily accessible.
4.4.4 Adding Attachments File Association The attachment feature is used to associate files with each other, such as adding reference citations in papers. Attachments can be added directly to establish connections between related documents.
