4.2.1Once Uploading Files and Folders

Uploading Methods

1. Drag and Drop Upload Users can upload files and folders by dragging them directly from their PC and dropping them into any area of the Kedao Cloud page within the browser. This intuitive method allows for quick and easy file uploads.

2. Click to Upload Alternatively, users canyou click on the "Upload" button in the toolbar of the network disk page. Select "Select File" from the dropdown menu to open a file selection dialog where users can choose the file(s) to upload.

  • Uploading Folders To upload a folder, click on the "Upload" button, select the dropdown menu, and choose "Folder". Then, select the desiredany folder from the pop-upFile windowManager (in this case, the Desktop folder under "Personal"), you're taken deeper into the Main Workspace, where actions like uploading, creating, and organizing files happen. Below is a structured breakdown of this screen:

    1. Left Sidebar (Sub-Menu Panel)

    1. Desktop: Your personal virtual desktop area.

    2. Document: A folder typically used to store documents (Word, PDF, etc.).

    4.2.2 Offline Download

    Downloading Files Offline To download files offline, click on the "Upload" button dropdown menu on the network disk page and select "Offline Download.". Enter the HTTP link of the file you wish to download to initiate the offline download process.

    4.2.3 Downloading Files

    1. Toolbar Download Select the desired file and click the "Download" button in the toolbar to save the file to your local computer.
    2. Context Menu Download Alternatively, right-click on the target file, select "Download" from the context menu, and the file will be downloaded to your local system.
    Automatic Compression Kedao Cloud supports the automatic compression of folders and multiple files during the download process. This feature helps to streamline the download of large quantities of data.
